Apparently, this is a weekly thing over at Fun, Crafts, and Recipes so I figured I'd share my foody answers.
#1. Cake. Buttercream, whipped cream or ice cream?
Definitely butter cream. I'd never even conceived of ice cream with cake until I came to America. Whipped cream is good but butter cream is better.
#2. When entertaining do you use real, paper, plastic or styrofoam dishes?
Real. Never styrofoam.
#3. When hosting a party do you cook, have it catered or go to a restaurant?
Cook. I just wish we had the space to entertain more often.
#4. Share a recipe that you frequently serve when having a party.
Depends on how many I'm cooking for. Usually, because of space, I just cook for four or five. Lasagne or pasta are always good choices.

Buttercream is great! And a touch of ice cream.. is better!
Thanks for everyone's comments. Lasagna just always seems to be a safe choice because I've yet to meet anyone who doesn't like it, so I don't have to worry about people's likes, dislikes, allergies, etc.
